Gas well optimization is the method by which production of gas is enhanced from a reservoir that produces liquids (water, oil, natural gas liquids, or a combination of all three) along with the gas.

Gas wells can be optimized in a number of ways. The most common method is plunger lift, an artificial lift system that uses a small plunger which travels up and down the well in the production tubing. When a certain amount of liquid accumulates in the well, the well is opened at the surface and resevoir pressure lifts the pig or plunger up the tubing expelling the produced liquids.

Pressure Survey Access Technology

The true wireless solution for conducting acoustic pressure surveys. Direct connect from the field to your PIT engineering team. Utilizing either satellite or 1-X cellular coverage customers can access information through a secure web account.

Optimization Trailers

Trailers can be easily installed on new well's that require initial stabilization or existing plunger lift systems that require optimization. The trailer continually monitors tubing, casing and line pressures. Flow Differential and temperature are also measured and a flow rate is calculated. The well is cycled by taking control of a motor valve between the wellhead and the flowline. Remote start up and optimization of plunger lift wells utilizing a portable SCADA system.

Pace Maker Plunger Lift System

Plunger lift is a well optimization tool primarily used to increase production and unload liquid loading gas wells. Plunger lift is a very cost effective form of artificial lift because the plunger system relies on the wells own energy rather than external power sources.
