The Optimization Solutions Premier delivers consist of both oil and gas well optimization. Premiers strong emphasis on engineering analysis and practical experience allows our customers to truly identify opportunities to decrease lifting costs or increase production.
Oil well optimization involves field testing and engineering services to ensure a wellbore is functioning properly in terms of reservoir inflow, artificial lift (pumping system), and regulatory compliance. The objective is to recover the maximum amount of hydrocarbons in the most cost-effective manner.
PIT provides producers with advanced oilwell automation equipment, proprietary artificial lift accessories, well diagnostic instruments and oil well optimization equipment through its PIT Products Division. This includes manufacturing, installation, calibration, and after-sales service. PIT products are employed on thousands of producing oil and gas wells in Canada and around the world. Gas well optimization is the method by which production of gas is enhanced from a reservoir that produces liquids (water, oil, natural gas liquids, or a combination of all three) along with the gas.
Gas wells can be optimized in a number of ways. The most common method is
plunger lift, an artificial lift system that uses a small plunger which travels
up and down the well in the production tubing. When a certain amount of liquid
accumulates in the well, the well is opened at the surface and reservoir
pressure lifts the pig or plunger up the tubing expelling the produced liquids. [Click here to view product line]
Premier offers traditional swabbing services as well as our new Hydraulic swabbing service. The inventive design of the hydraulic swabbing unit and tools allow this rig design to swab a flowing well down line, simulating a plunger lift or other artificial lift methods. Because many wells do not have proper liquid production history, this allows the producer to gather the information needed to have successful results from the optimization dollars spent.
